We cut the cord several years ago and where doing fine until the TV stations in my area moved frequencies and we had to rescan, No matter what did we could not get back one of the national channels, talking with their engineers they suggested we may need to get a longer range antenna.
Bought this antenna for a neighbor who was suffering the same and Presto, everything came back plus more, made the change ourself today, easy assembly, super easy installation, supports 5 TV's (all on at once!) rescan and good to go. Nice Product, well worth the money.

I read in the online description that Five Star highly recommended outdoor placement of this antenna. I put it in my attic in the Chicago suburbs and pulled in 51 channels. So no need to apologize Five Star. The antenna arrived intact, all parts were included, the setup instructions were clear, and less than an hour of work later, I had good picture on my small portable set. I am now awaiting arrival of my new TV and expect to hook up to the antenna and take full advantage of the strong signal. I am about 40 miles SW of downtown Chicago.

I read in the online description that Five Star highly recommended outdoor placement of this antenna. I put it in my attic in the Chicago suburbs and pulled in 51 channels. So no need to apologize Five Star. The antenna arrived intact, all parts were included, the setup instructions were clear, and less than an hour of work later, I had good picture on my small portable set. Using this antenna I am receiving with excellent reception all OTA stations available in my area. Although I have not had to adjust the direction of my antenna it is very helpful to have the ability to do that from inside the house rather that having to climb a ladder and make a manual adjustment. This antenna is attached to an OTA DVR device that shows signal strength. That device shows I have the strongest available signal on all available OTA stations.
