We are and were in need of another toilet ?? in our house. We have used toilet as an additional toilet and has been a very good solution. We have four small kids and our a family of 6 in our household. This toilet has been a Godsend. It has really relieved the stress of having one bathroom in our house while we are preparing to build another bathroom in our addition. I strongly believe if you are in need of an additional toilet this is a fantastic solution. The flush sprayer and pump works fantastic. The seal from the bowl to the holding tank works well and doesn't leak. The fresh tank and holding tank are very sufficient and hold enough liquid and waste. Small kids the age of 3 can use this toilet with no problems. I have found I dump the waste down our outside cleanout in our own plumbing system. Then I spray the waste tank with water a few times and flush out the tank and dump it again into our cleanout. This works really well for us too. If you are on the fence about purchasing this toilet I would buy it. We can't wait to use it for camping and for the beach and parks etc. We will even use it in Central Florida when we rent a pontoon boat for our family. I'm so thankful we found a great portable toilet which works and is reliable and EASY to use! ??
So far I am very pleased with function, the increased capacity and overall quality. Some have indicated they were unable to completely empty the waste tank but I found that to be negligible for continued use since you will be adding treatment and if storing you will be rinsing it out. I do not have any real concerns at this time.
Fantastic customer service and a fantastic product. I received my order in a timely and accurate manner.
I just became "single" again. WE had a compost toilet for about 8 years, and it served its purpose, but it was very heavy, and it was all I could do to empty it by myself, (I am female). My Ex had always emptied it when he was here, not to mention it was getting old, stained, and frankly disgusting. I wanted something I could handle myself, and that was new and clean. Well, I was really sweating for about 3 days emptying this toilet, because I didn't know what to expect as far as weight, and as far as solids "digesting," but it was full, and I had no other choice but to venture into emptying it. Much to my DELIGHT, it was SOOOOO much easier than emptying the compost toilet, which is just what I wanted. I am 71 years old, and I had no problem carrying the FULL bottom half outside of my RV to the dumping/sewer outlet next to my RV, and it all emptied out just fine. I was greatly relieved. It is very easy to set up, and also easy enough to empty. I especially like the little "sewer hose" in the back, because I can just put it in the outlet where a normal RV sewer hose would go if I was emptying a tank from the RV, and simply dump it, and voila - it's all gone. Then just simply put the deodorant in the bottom tank with a little water, fill the top part with water, and give it a couple of pumps, and it's ready to go again. I LOVE IT!!!! I can't believe how easy it is to operate, and even when it's full, even I can pick it up and carry it outside and dump it, and since I am the only person using it, I can probably go at least a week before I have to empty it. It's awesome. You won't be disappointed.
I purchased the Porta Potty in March 2018 but it stayed in the box because I didn't need it. Until a week ago when my town suffered a five-day power outage. August 2020. When there is a power outage my household is unable to use the toilet or shower as we are below grade and need to run waste water through a sewage ejection pump. No electricity, no toilets or showers. So life is extremely difficult if there's a prolonged power outage. This was the real reason for my purchase. We can wash then water the flowers in the garden but, go to the bathroom? It was easy to set up the Porta-Potty. I added a Walex Porta-Pak for deodorizing and to treat waste in the tank. When the power was restored I emptied it into the toilet and flushed. I hosed it down with clean water, let it dry and stored it for another time. Excellent product. If I was a camper this would be one item I'd definitely take with me.
